Growing up racing cars and flying airplanes got me interested in measuring and telematics as both require a lot. I spent much of my career in motorsports with engine monitoring, data acquisition and telemetry. At Gauge, I try to make sure whatever electronic device that we design or deploy does what it (or we) say it will do. We do not take shortcuts. If we do not have a device that a customer needs, then we get to design one. How fun is that?

My wife and I have two adult sons. When I’m not with family, I’m either fishing or fussing about anything related to airplanes. We have two dogs, and for some reason, a cat.

I’m a people person and realized that when I was in college. I worked for a company installing audio equipment in cars. I saw and heard the excitement customers experienced when we completed the work.
